Lone Star Trail Building School

Join us for Lone Star Trail Building School. A two-day course held bi-annually at a Texas wilderness location. Learn all aspects of trail building, including design concepts, corridor flagging, and construction.

Classroom instruction will include an in-depth discussion on trail building concepts, design, and management.

Outdoor instruction will include how to layout the corridor, trim the corridor, pin flag the path, then construction of the trail.

Chain Saw Training

FISTA Level 1 & Level 2 Certification

  • Format: 2-Day Work Week Course
  • Cost: $350.00
  • Partner:Forest Industry Safety and Training Alliance (FISTA)
Combination classroom presentation and outdoor hands-on felling and cutting session. Each participant handles direct cutting experience.
Required PPE: Hardhat, chaps/protective pants, cut-resistant boots, eye/ear protection. (Chainsaws available if needed).
