Volunteers at a Dallas park cleanup

Cheers to the volunteers who help restore our greenspaces!

Volunteers serve as the backbone of Greenspace Dallas, contributing thousands of hours each year to the organization's restoration projects. Their dedication is essential to the maintenance and development of urban green spaces, ranging from trash cleanups and tree planting to trail building. The collective effort of individuals, families, youth groups, schools, and businesses empowers Greenspace Dallas to achieve its mission of creating accessible and vibrant natural environments for communities.

For every bag of trash removed from our forests, every shoe or shopping cart fished out of our great Trinity River, and every foot of trail cleared of overgrowth and debris - we salute you!

Team up and make a difference. Volunteer with us.

What our volunteers are saying.

“My favorite part of volunteering with Greenspace Dallas is meeting other people who are passionate about the environment and knowing that the work we do locally in Dallas has much wider impacts in Texas as a whole. It’s rewarding knowing that the work benefits all the people and wildlife that interact with the Trinity River and use parks in Dallas”

Sierra Moline

“I love being out in nature and care about our environment. Volunteering for Greenspace allows me to live this passion with purpose, pride and pleasure!”

Donna Walker

“I volunteer with Greenspace Dallas because they are a ‘boots on the ground’ nonprofit. They are a very lean organization who values and needs their volunteers. I wholeheartedly believe in our mission to develop national park quality recreational areas in the Trinity River Corridor while preparing and empowering our youth to become future stewards of our environment.”
