Every neglected piece of land can be something more.

A healthier ecosystem.

An area for recreation.

A community gathering space.

An outdoor classroom.

A place for serenity

A topline view of what we do.

Greenspace Dallas transforms neglected natural areas into healthy, accessible, valuable community spaces. Through hands-on restoration, trail building, partnerships and community engagement, we help turn overlooked land into places where people, wildlife, and the natural environment can thrive.

We bring together local companies, volunteers, students, public agencies, nonprofit groups, and private partners to accomplish restoration work together.
We clean up and rehabilitate neglected public spaces, particularly along Dallas’ rivers, creeks and floodplains.
We tackle litter and illegal dumping that degrade natural areas and threaten waterways and wildlife.
We develop trails, gathering areas, benches, signage and other improvements that invite people into the landscape.
